About Continuing and Professional Education

Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) connects the University of Oregon with regional communities to enable learning outside of the traditional university setting. Working in partnership with UO schools and colleges, selected vendors, and national credentialing associations, we serve more than 5,000 participants annually.

Through Continuing and Professional Education, individuals can access professional development, lifelong learning, and community engagement opportunities that will allow them to grow and thrive without being an admitted participant at the UO.

Continuing and Professional Education programs are self-support and fee-based; they do not use state dollars. CPE reports to the Division of Participant Services and Enrollment Management.
