Our non-degree program is designed to not only equip you with the fundamental tools and skills you need to accelerate your career, but to also provide you with unparalleled support and resources before, during, and after your boot camp.
More than 2.5 quintillion bytes of data are created each day—much of which can be used to translate information into global insights, predict future trends, and help organizations make better decisions.
That’s why data analytics is one of the fastest-growing fields in today’s economy, with jobs projected to grow by 31% through 2030.1
Additionally, data analyst is one of Glassdoor’s Top 50 Jobs in America.2
Our employer-competitive learners have received job offers from thousands of global organizations. As you take the next steps in your career, you’ll have exclusive access to job referrals from our network of 250+ partners.
Our Career Engagement Network will help you apply the tools and knowledge you’ll learn in your program to advance your career. They will assist you in developing a strong portfolio, a polished resume, and sharp interview skills. You’ll also have access to free career resources throughout your professional life.
University of Oregon Data Analytics Boot Camp is a student-first, online experience that combines collaborative, hands-on training with real-world data sets to provide you with the tools to collect, analyze, and visualize big data—and to make your next career move.
The curriculum is delivered through high-quality coursework and live, online noncredit classes. Instructors are reviewed by UO Continuing and Professional Education and offer 1-on-1 guidance to learners throughout the program.
Do more with Microsoft Excel. You’ll even learn to model historic stock trends — and, hopefully, beat the market.

What you will learn:
Your final project is an opportunity to get creative and collaborate with a small group of students to design an impressive data visualization application.
By the time you complete the boot camp, you will have mastered in-demand skills, built an impressive portfolio of projects using real-world data sets, and earned a valuable noncredit Certificate of Completion from a globally recognized university.
Due to the vast nature of the data analytics field, you will be able to tailor a portion of your learning experience to the exact career path you want to pursue. Choose from finance, healthcare, or a custom direction, and work with a small team to design your final project based on your industry of interest — and on the problems you want to solve.
This is a part-time non-degree program designed for working professionals like you who are seeking to advance careers, enhance skills for a current role, or change career paths by learning data science and analytics.

Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) connects the University of Oregon with regional communities to enable learning outside of the traditional university setting. Working in partnership with UO schools and colleges, selected vendors, and national credentialing associations, we serve more than 5,000 participants annually.
Through Continuing and Professional Education, individuals can access professional development, lifelong learning, and community engagement opportunities that will allow them to grow and thrive without being an admitted participant at the UO.
Continuing and Professional Education programs are self-support and fee-based; they do not use state dollars. CPE reports to the Division of Student Services and Enrollment Management.
